• Review AR Aging to ensure all accounts are current, that is all debts are collected on time 2. Manage Cash AR • To ensure GL Cash AR balance matched with actual cash held by Cashier • Transfer Cash AR Account to Bank Accounts as per bank-in slips from Cashier • Posting to GL for all transactions in bank module • Manage AR Other • Posting to GL for Debit Notes issued by AR Officer through journal vouchers and verify all supporting documents. • To account for payments by supplier when we offset against payments to suppliers (with AP bank through module via clearing account) • To keep AP informed of all outstanding balances by suppliers. • Monthly updating of these Balances. • Note down JV & GL Account numbers on Debit Note hard copies for transactions taken place • Send details of GL Account numbers by individual Debit Note to AP (Monthly) • Manage AR II • Movements of bad outstanding debts (Customers’ shops being closed, customers went missing, over paid and short paid amounts which cannot be collected) to AR II. All accounts in Accounts Receivable should be collectable and ‘correct’ • Separate by category of the debts for monthly review by FM • Prepare Monthly Sale Discounts for selected customers for the AR team • To compute Sales Discount for selected group of approved customers • Generate monthly review list for COO • Other tasks to be assigned by superior.
